Meliflor Tip
These Onland olla irrigation pots by Meliflor have been designed with an elongated end, in the shape of a cone, enabling you to anchor them in the ground. This cone-shaped end also means the water filters towards the roots.
Insert the olla into the substrate of your plant until it no longer moves; you should bury about half of the olla into the substrate. Once you've done this, fill it with water and fertilizer if required. From now on, all you'll need to do is check the moisture of the soil and refill your irrigation olla when you notice a loss of moisture in the substrate.
If your plants require a large quantity of water or you're growing them in a very dry area, increase the number of irrigation ollas per plant pot.
