Information about Substrate for Seedbed
The substrate mixture for seedbed by Meliflor is made up of premium-quality peats taken from national peat bogs. It is manufactured from sphagnum peat, black peat, and coco coir, to which a small percentage of calcium carbonate is added to ensure that the pH remains at favorable levels for rooting. What's more, this seedbed substrate also offers low levels of salinity, which promotes the growth of roots.

Meliflor Tip
You can use this substrate to plant in germination trays. For this, we recommend you fill the germinator halfway with the substrate and press it down lightly. Then distribute the seeds evenly, cover them with substrate, and press this down gently once more. Once finished, water lightly. When you see the shoots start to grow, plant them individually using the same system.
